Saheefa Jabbar breaks down over alleged fake negative reviews targeting her new café

Actor and model Saheefa Jabbar Khattak became emotional on social media after claiming that her newly opened café was targeted with a sudden surge of suspicious negative reviews online.

In a video shared on her social platforms, the actress appeared visibly upset and tearful while discussing the situation. She revealed that dozens of one-star ratings appeared on Google within a short span of time during the early hours of the morning.

According to Saheefa, the reviews began showing up around 3am and quickly multiplied.

“I woke up and noticed an unusual number of one-star reviews on Google. Nearly 50 ratings appeared within a very short time,” she said in the video.

Saheefa explained that she had personally been at the café earlier that day, serving pizzas and interacting directly with visitors.

“I was there myself, serving pizzas and meeting customers. Everyone seemed happy and was giving positive feedback, so I can’t understand how these negative reviews suddenly showed up,” she said.

She also questioned the authenticity of the reviews, noting that many of her customers are families and older individuals who typically do not post feedback online.

“Most of my customers don’t usually leave reviews on the internet, which is why seeing so many ratings appear overnight feels very unusual,” she added.

During the video, the actress also spoke about the challenges she believes women face while running businesses. She suggested that female entrepreneurs often encounter harassment, pressure and coordinated efforts to damage their reputations.

Saheefa claimed that women who start businesses sometimes face blackmail attempts, demands for bribes and smear campaigns meant to discourage them from continuing.

The controversy comes shortly after she faced criticism over comments about hiring staff for her café. In an earlier statement, she said she preferred employing Pathan workers because she considered them more reliable.

Her remarks triggered backlash on social media, with many users accusing her of making discriminatory statements.

Saheefa initially rose to fame as a fashion model before transitioning into acting. Over the years, she has appeared in several Pakistani television dramas, including Beti, Bhool, Log Kya Kahengay, Rafta Rafta and Bhool Ja Ay Dil.
