Khyber Pakhtunkhwa governor reiterates zero tolerance for terrorism

PESHAWAR: The Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Faisal Karim Kundi has emphasized that there is no space for terrorism in the province, reaffirming the government's commitment to maintaining peace and security in the region.

Speaking at a recent event, the governor stated, "There is no room for terrorism in K-P." He highlighted the efforts of law enforcement agencies and the provincial administration in combating militancy and ensuring the safety of citizens. The governor also stressed the importance of unity among all stakeholders to eliminate the threat of terrorism and promote stability in the province.

The governor acknowledged the sacrifices made by security forces and the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the fight against terrorism. He underscored the need for continued vigilance and cooperation to prevent the resurgence of militant activities.

According to the governor, the provincial government is taking comprehensive measures to address the root causes of extremism and to support the rehabilitation and development of affected areas.
