Multiple robberies reported in Islamabad; man injured in stabbing during Khanna incident

ISLAMABAD: A series of robberies occurred across Islamabad, with police reporting that gangs targeted citizens at five different locations, resulting in injuries and significant losses of cash and valuables.

Man stabbed and robbed in Khanna

According to police, the first incident took place in the Khanna area, where a man identified as Imran Ahmed was attacked while travelling on his motorcycle. Two individuals intercepted Ahmed, held him up, and stabbed him multiple times. Following the assault, the assailants stole his motorcycle, valued at Rs60,000, and fled the scene.

Shop looted at gunpoint in Bhara Kahu

In a separate incident in Bhara Kahu, four armed robbers targeted a shop owned by Mohammad Umer at Jhangi Stop. The suspects held Umer at gunpoint and proceeded to steal Rs100,000 in cash, a mobile phone, and cigarettes worth Rs50,000 before escaping.

Robbery reported in G-11

Police further reported that another gang robbed a man in the G-11 sector, taking cash and mobile phones. Details regarding the identity of the victim and the value of the stolen items were not specified in the police statement.

Authorities have launched investigations into all incidents and are working to apprehend the suspects involved in these robberies.
