Policeman and Wife Die of Electrocution in Lakki Marwat
A policeman and his wife died from electrocution in Lakki Marwat, while several others suffered shocks. In a separate incident, a man was killed over a murder enmity in the same district.

A tragic incident occurred in the Daulatkhel area of Lakki Marwat district on Sunday, where a police constable and his wife lost their lives due to electrocution, familiar with the matter.
Reports indicate that the incident took place inside the residence of police constable Inamullah. A local resident stated that Inamullah's wife received a fatal electric shock while attempting to switch on an electric appliance in their home. Upon witnessing the situation, Inamullah rushed to assist his wife but was also electrocuted in the process.
A rescue 1122 official confirmed that both individuals, a man and a woman, were transported to the Government City Hospital. Medical staff at the hospital declared them dead upon arrival.
Sources further reported that several other individuals in the village, mostly women and girls, also experienced electric shocks when the power supply was restored to the area at around 11 am. However, these individuals were treated using traditional methods and did not require hospitalisation.
In a separate incident on the same day, a man was killed in the Hathi Khan Langerkhel area of Lakki Marwat district. According to police, the murder was linked to an ongoing enmity. The incident occurred within the jurisdiction of the Lakki city police station. Police said that Gul Tayaz, along with his son Arshadullah, 18, and his brother Wahid Murad, were involved in the case. Further details regarding the circumstances of the murder were not provided in the reports.
Authorities are continuing their investigations into both incidents. No further information has been released at this time.
