A female doctor employed at Lady Willingdon Hospital in Lahore reportedly attempted suicide at her residence in a private housing society, with sources attributing the incident to workplace stress. The incident, which occurred several days ago, came to public attention after her husband, who is also a medical professional, filed a formal complaint with the Punjab health secretary.

According to reports, the doctor, identified as 'N', ingested a large quantity of sleeping pills in an alleged effort to cope with stress related to her work environment.
