PESHAWAR: The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) in Peshawar has made significant headway in its investigation of a recent devastating suicide attack on Chinese engineers in Bisham city, located in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Shangla district.

Four individuals with ties to the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) have been apprehended in connection to the explosion, which targeted a vehicle transporting five Chinese nationals, including a woman, and their Pakistani driver on March 26. The attackers utilized an explosive-laden vehicle in the assault.

The CTD spokesperson has disclosed that additional members of the same terrorist network have been identified.
