Robert Redford, the legendary Hollywood actor turned director and producer, has passed away at the age of 89, according to The New York Times.
Known for his roles in iconic films like Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid and The Sting, Redford later became a key figure in the independent film scene through the Sundance Institute, which he founded.
