PTI MPA Daud Khan Jatoi arrested after bail plea dismissed in murder case

MUZAFFARGARH: Police on Wednesday arrested Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Member of the Punjab Assembly Sardar Daud Khan Jatoi after the Multan Bench of the Lahore High Court dismissed his bail petition in a murder case.

The case is linked to the killing of a doctor in Jatoi tehsil of Muzaffargarh district. Following the court’s decision, law enforcement officials immediately took the legislator from PP-273 into custody.

Police sources confirmed that further legal proceedings are underway, stressing that action will be taken strictly in accordance with the law.
