Brad Pitt has shared the one condition that would make him consider working with Tom Cruise again. During the promotion of his upcoming movie F1, directed by Joseph Kosinski, Pitt told E! News that he would be open to collaboration, but only under one specific condition: “Well, I’m not gonna hang my a** off airplanes and s*** like that, so when he does something again that’s on the ground,” he said, referring to Cruise’s famous high-flying stunts in the Mission: Impossible series.
Pitt and Cruise first starred together in 1994 in the horror-fantasy film Interview with the Vampire. Recently, Kosinski, who has worked with both actors, compared their distinct on-screen traits in an interview with GQ. “Tom always pushes it to the limit, but at the same time is super capable and very skilled,” he said. “They both have the natural talent for driving. But yeah, I could see Tom maybe scaring us a little bit more.”

Kosinski went on to describe the stress involved in working with Cruise on stunts, particularly in the Mission: Impossible series. “We’d have had a crash. Tom pushes it to the limit. I mean really to the limit. That terrifies me,” he noted, explaining the intense nature of working with Cruise. “Whereas Brad listens and knows his abilities. He’s the first to say, ‘Yeah, I’m not going to do that.’”
Pitt’s upcoming movie F1 is set to hit theaters on June 27, 2025.
