ISLAMABAD: The Federal Ministry of Education has begun the process of advertising the position for the Chairman of the Higher Education Commission (HEC), as the current chairman’s term is set to conclude on July 29. The final approval to advertise the vacancy will be granted by the Prime Minister.
Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed, who was appointed HEC Chairman for a one-year term under the HEC (Amendment) Bill, 2023, will step down when his term ends.
