Junaid Jamshed’s son shares details of late father’s final WhatsApp voice note

The final WhatsApp voice note sent by the late Junaid Jamshed before his untimely death was shared by his son, Babar Junaid, during a podcast appearance.

The podcast also featured Mujaddid Sabri, son of the late Amjad Sabri. Host Nadir Ali brought up Junaid Jamshed’s last audio message, prompting Babar Junaid to share his father’s final wishes.

Ali requested permission to discuss the voice note, which he had heard from a friend of Jamshed. He noted Junaid Jamshed’s habitual use of “Insha’Allah” and “Masha’Allah” in his conversations. However, in his final message, Junaid Jamshed uncharacteristically omitted “Insha’Allah,” simply saying, “I will come to Karachi.”

Ali reflected on this unusual occurrence, attributing it to God’s will.

Babar Junaid confirmed the voice note’s authenticity and recalled the day of his father’s passing. “I was at home when my mother informed me of my father’s death,” he said.

He revealed that his father had always wished for martyrdom, believing it would grant him entry to paradise without judgment.

Junaid Jamshed’s journey from a renowned singer to a devout religious figure left a profound impact on many. He tragically died in a plane crash on December 7, 2016, while on a mission to spread the message of Islam in Chitral, spending his final days dedicated to his faith.
