WASHINGTON: X Founder Elon Musk expressed his full support for Donald Trump immediately after the former president was shot in the ear during a rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday, surviving an assassination attempt.
“I fully endorse President Trump and hope for his rapid recovery,” Musk stated on X.
In a subsequent post, Musk added, “Last time America had a candidate this tough was Theodore Roosevelt.”
The incident occurred during Trump’s speech at the campaign rally. Following the attack on the 78-year-old Trump, nine shots were fired, causing the former president to duck for cover. Secret Service agents quickly surrounded him, and Trump was rushed off stage.
