Sui has a central position as it supplies natural gas to the whole country. However, despite being the hometown of the sitting provincial chief minister, the city stands cut off from Sindh as well as Punjab through land routes, while the road leading to Kashmore remains in the iron grip of dacoits. The provincial government should look into the matter, and ensure security of commuters on the said road. Besides, funds should be allocated for constructing new roads to link the city with Sindh and Punjab.
