Peace of mind

Library is a place frequented by people looking to spend time with books and newspapers in a calm and clean environment. Students preparing for various examinations visit libraries in the hope of being able to study with peace of mind. However, this is not the case with students visiting the public library in the Hub district of Balochistan. They continuously struggle to arrange basic facilities, such as chairs, fans and drinking water. The long hours of load- shedding add to their woes. The municipal authorities and the library management should act to resolve the issue.
