Justice Tariq Masood sworn in as acting CJP

ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court of Pakistan’s senior puisne judge, Justice Sardar Tariq Masood, was sworn in as acting Chief Justice of Pakistan on Saturday after incumbent CJP Qazi Faez Isa proceeded abroad on winter holidays.

Justice Ejaz Ul Hassan administered oath to apex court’s most senior judge, Justice Sardar Tariq Masood as the acting CJP.

The oath-taking ceremony was attended by Supreme Court judges and prominent lawyers.
