‘Wrong injection’ claims life of one-month-old child, doctor held

FAISALABAD: One-month-old child died of wrong injection during circumcision here on Sunday. Police arrested the medics.

According to details, Nazia w/o Shahnawaz of Chak No. 232 Baway Wala Faisalabad took his one-month-old child Hussain Ali to clinic of Dr. Abdul Ghaffar in Street 8, Muzaffar Colony for circumcision.

The doctor injected the child with wrong injected due to condition of the minor children deteriorated.

Shahnawaz took the child to Children Hospital where doctors confirmed that the child has expired.

SHO Samanabad arrested Dr. Abdul Ghaffar and after registering a case into the incident started an investigation.
