Ombudsman helps 15 applicants to get jobs

LAHORE: On the instructions of the Punjab Ombudsman, various provincial departments have provided regular government jobs to 15 applicants under the Punjab Civil Servants Rules, 1974, protecting their legal rights.

The applicants include Muhammad Abdullah (Sheikhupura), Manza Firdous (Gujranwala), Uzmi Abrar (Jhelum), Farooq (Jhang), Ziaul Hasan (Attock), Muhammad Jawad (Rahim Yar Khan), Sawira Ashraf (Toba Tek Singh), Abdullah (Sargodha), Muhammad Bilal (Faisalabad), Muhammad Umar Hanif (Mandi Bahauddin), Zarik Bin Tariq (Jhelum), Zain Asim (Lahore), Iqra Aziz (Wahari), Ghulam Jilani (Rahim Yar Khan), and Ehsanul Haque (Faisalabad).

The applicants have thanked the Office of the Ombudsman Punjab for providing them with their legal right to a government job.
The Ombudsman Punjab is an independent office that investigates complaints against government departments and officials. It has the power to direct government departments to take corrective action, including providing relief to complainants.

The provision of regular government jobs to these 15 applicants is a welcome step by the Punjab Ombudsman. It shows that the office is committed to protecting the rights of citizens and ensuring that government departments follow the law.
