Marriyum slams Imran’s ‘senseless’ tweet on New Year

ISLAMABAD: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb on Sunday castigated Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan for “what she described” his senseless tweet on the occasion of new year.

Using her Twitter handle, she said that Imran Khan was a strange person having no feelings for happy occasions like Eid, Shab Raat or New Year. She said that Imran had no prayers or good wishes for any occasion.

Imprisoned in his own self, she said, Imran had no forward thinking, no thought for anyone’s grief and no feeling for anyone’s happiness.

She said that a person like Imran who did not know how to share others happiness and sorrow, how would he think about the betterment of 22 million people.

‘Prayer for resolution of problems being faced by humanity in new year’

Meanwhile, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb on Sunday prayed for the resolution of the problems of suffering humanity in the new year.

In a tweet, she wished all a happy New Year and prayed that humanity may get rid of inflation, terrorism, cruelty, injustice, lies, and hatred.

She prayed that 2023 may bring happiness, progress, and prosperity and that the dreams of the youth might be fulfilled. She wished for the early recovery of sick persons. She wished that the unrest may end on the earth and peace may prevail in 2023.
