Customer files Rs10m suit against company over delay in delivery

LAHORE: Lahore Consumer Court judge Adnan Mushtaq has sought response from a car dealer on October 10 over a delay in delivery of car to a customer.

Maqsood Ahmed, a consumer from DHA, moved the consumer court via Muhammad Tariq advocate to seek justice.

In Saturday’s hearing, the judge heard the case and accepted the plea for hearing and issued notice to the car company dealer and its owner.

He alleged that the private car company located in Gulberg has not been providing his car despite he deposited Rs5.9 million amount to the dealer.

The consumer alleged that the owner and dealer of the private car company now delaying the delivery of the car.
