Three kids climb up electricity pylon to escape flood

KHAIRPUR: Three kids climbed up an electricity pylon in Khairpur Nathan Shah to save their lives from ravaging floods and stranded there for two days before being rescued on Thursday.

According to details, three children in Khairpur Nathan Shah saved themselves from drowning by climbing up an electricity pylon and stayed there for two days.

After information about the kids reached authorities, they were rescued and moved to a safer place. The heartbreaking pictures of them, stranded atop an electricity pylon, have gone viral on social media.

Though flood deluge has subsided to a great extent and rehabilitation process has been initiated in various areas, the flood-affected people continue to suffer and are struggling hard to survive in the disastrous situation.

It is important to mention here that 15 people have so far lost their lives in Khairpur Nathan Shah, and more than a dozen people are missing.
