GUJRAT: A couple who had returned from Spain recently was shot dead in Gujrat on a monetary dispute on Saturday.
The slain couple was identified as Kashif Shahzad and Abida Bibi.
Brother of Abida Bibi, Hassan Ali Shah, allegedly gunned down his sister and her husband inside his home after they demanded return of their Rs200,000.
Dinga Police Station personnel shifted the bodies to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Kharian for post-mortem.
Kashif’s brother Shanawar Ali got registered an FIR against accused Hassan Ali Shah. Police have launched an investigation into the murders.
