LAHORE: A cleric fled with his family after an initial probe confirmed he had raped and impregnated a minor girl student at the seminary in Burewala city, police said Wednesday.
The police report suggested the cleric, whose identity has been withheld, had been raping the 13-year-old girl for a month who after falling sick underwent a medical checkup.
The police have booked the cleric who is currently on the run.
