Pharma exports surge 22.9pc in 5MFY21

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s exports of pharmaceutical products increased 22.87pc in the first five months (July-Nov) of the current fiscal year (FY21), data revealed by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) showed on Thursday.

According to details, Pakistan exported pharma products worth $113.921 million in July-Nov FY21 as compared to the exports of $92.717 million in July-Nov FY20.

Similarly, pharma exports also increased by 24.09pc to $24.307 million on a year-on-year (YoY) basis in November 2020, as compared to imports of $19.588 million in Nov 2019.

Further, on a month-on-month (MoM) basis, exports also rose 14.55pc in Nov 2020, as compared to the imports of $21.220 million in October 2020.
