LAHORE: An anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Lahore on Monday extended for 15 days the physical remand of the prime accused in the motorway gang-rape case.
Special Anti-Terrorism Court Judge Arshad Hussain Bhatta heard the proceeding during which Abid Malhi was presented after the identity parade.
Malhi was produced amid tight security.
A woman was raped at gunpoint in September by two men before the eyes of her children after her vehicle ran out of fuel. The two men including Malhi are also said to have stolen money and jewelry before fleeing the scene.
