After the tragic Motorway gang rape, many others rapes cases reported causing intense grief & outrage among the nation. Many visionary & wise social activist seeing the current ongoing situations as test case for judiciary & it’s a high time to reconsider the social training for teenage boys.
Motorway gang rape case should serve as an eye-opener for Pakistani society. Why rape, harassment and domestic violence is increasing day by day? On an average 9 Rape cases per day, harassment at workplace and educational institutions is clear manifestation of “No Rules of Law” in Pakistan. It’s a universal truth that justice delayed is justice denied. Mukhtara Mai Gang Rape Case is an example where she was raped on the orders of so-called tribunal court “Panchyat”. Neither Pakistan’s Chief Executive General Musharraf nor judiciary took it seriously. Musharraf’s remarks on that case was seriously unscrupulous & can’t be justified.
Many people claimed films and Vulgar media Content is behind this rape and Harassment mindset. Society needs to understand that what’s going on in the minds of men? How “planned & Scripted” scenes can dismiss 20 years of “Tarbiat” in few minutes? It’s sign of disasters situation for the upcoming progenies. These rising incidents revealed us Parents and Teachers has been failed in fulfilling their responsibilities. Mostly girls were social-sexual trained by their mothers but how boys are getting this social-sexual training? In modern world era, sex is shaped by Internet Pornography.
