KARACHI: Two police officials were injured in a cracker blast at a police station in Karachi’s Mominabad neighbourhood, police said on Tuesday.
According to the bomb disposal squad, the attackers used an RGD-1 grenade. Further evidence is being collected using the CCTV cameras, it added.
Attempts to attack the police were made in the past as well, the police said. The police suspect that the perpetrators are from a terrorist organisation.
The injured policemen, identified as Saeed and Umar, were shifted to a nearby hospital.
