Even after the warnings of meteorologists — Nothing was taken seriously. From the very first drizzling rain showed its clout which floored Karachi’s drainage system and turned it into a running river. The gutters filled with garbages let rain water to enter in city, houses and shops. As seen, the mixture of rain and drain water gave raise to skin diseases such as: Irritations, rashes, fungal infections etc. Main roads and Chowks are also covered in water, because of high speed flowing, water swallowed citizen’s car, rikshahs and bikes also it took humans with it. The water inside shops ruined electronic accessories, general stores and other goods which led heavy damage to their owners. In some areas where the surface is low — narrow paths look a like lakes. Even people are not safe in their homes, how can they be? Because poor’s houses converted into swimming pools. Government must not avoid this disruption and issue a strict order to clean and run water out, so as nation will take a breath of peace.
