Parts of the country, especially Sindh and kpk are reported to be facing a shortage of a number of life-saving biological products used to treat cancer, angina, diabetes etc. Apparently, the national control Laboratory has not been processing their certification since March 13. This negligence of government and other related authorities increasing the risk for critically ill patients who number are in the thousands.

Currently, A 9 years old child Zeeahan from larkana suffering from full-blown after bitten by a stray dog. His parents took him to hospital at the same day as Government Hospital Larkana but he couldn’t recovered from rabies due to the shortage of vaccination. So he was brought in Indus Hospital Karachi as Larkana’s doctor concerned. And here, the Indus Hospital Administration said that the child was sent to Indus from another hospital but by that time he had developed full-blown rabies. He added, the child had  no signs of being vaccinated.
