LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Wednesday set the hearing of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz’s petition regarding the removal of her name from the Exit Control List (ECL).
A divisional bench of the LHC, comprising Justice Tariq Abbassi and Justice Chaudhry Abdul Aziz, will take up the case on Jan 15.
The plea was fixed for hearing in December last year but was postponed as both the judges were on the seasonal winter leave.
Maryam is seeking the removal of her name from the no-fly list and one-time permission to visit London to inquire after her ailing father, former prime minister Nawaz Sharif.
