MUZZAFARGARH: Four persons including a woman and a child died in a road accident on Saturday in the Chowk Sarwar Shaheed area.
According to reports, the incident occurred near Hussain Shah bus stop, where a speeding bus crashed into a motorcycle and a rickshaw which resulted in the deaths of four persons.
Rescue teams reached the spot and shifted the bodies to nearby medical facility for legal formalities.
Taking notice of the incident, Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has summoned a detailed report from the district administration into the matter.
Earlier this month, five women were killed while five others sustained serious injuries when a tractor-trolley turned turtle in Muzaffargarh.
Rescue officials said about 30 women were going for cotton picking on a tractor-trolley when it overturned while trying to cross another vehicle near Head Taunsa.
As a result, five of them died on the spot while five others sustained critical injuries. The bodies and injured were shifted to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Kot Addu.
