SIALKOT: A policeman embraced martyrdom while two robbers were killed in an encounter on Friday.
The encounter took place in Saddar area, when robbers riding a car did not stop when police signaled them to halt at a checkpost.
Police chased the car and an encounter took place, in which two bandits and a cop named Ansar died. However, two other bandits managed to flee.
Police shifted bodies to hospital and began probe.
