KARACHI: A man stabbed to death his sister-in-law over a property dispute in Gulistan-e-Jauhar area of the metropolis on Monday.
According to police sources, the accused Umaid Ali stabbed his brother’s wife Nasreen, over property in a house in Dhani Baksh Goth of Gulistan-e-Jauhar.
Police said the deceased’s children were at the home while her husband Tahir was at the village. Police said that the incident is a consequence of a long-standing property dispute.
The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center for medico-legal formalities. The MLO who handled the case had confirmed that a woman had been stabbed many times with a knife.
The body was shifted to a morgue after medico-legal formalities.
