NEW DELHI: In yet another tragic incident, a Pakistani fisherman languishing in an Indian jail died after he was tortured by the jail staff.

Noor-ul-Amin, who was over 80 years old and hailed from 100 Quarters Korangi, was arrested on September 30, 2017, when his boat entered Indian waters by mistake.

Amin has left behind his wife and three children.

On February 20, Pakistani prisoner Shakirullah was stoned to death in India by other inmates in Jaipur city of Rajasthan.

Angry Indian prisoners repeatedly struck Shakirullah with stones and chanted anti-Pakistan slogans. It was reported that Indian prisoners killed Shakirullah over the Pulwama Attack.
