Zardari criticising government to evade accountability, says Faisal Vawda

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Water Resources Faisal Vawda on Thursday said that Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari is criticising the government to evade accountability.

The Joint Investigation Team (JIT) report had unveiled corruption of Asif Ali Zardari, he said while talking to a private news channel.

Reacting to Asif Ali Zardari’s speech at Garhi Khuda Baksh, the minister said that PPP co-chairman targeted and criticised the court and Nawaz Sharif. He said that Zardari had strong links with Omni Group which is why he was defending Omni Group.

He said that the incumbent government had not registered the cases against him and the JIT was constituted by the court.
