MITHI: One more child died of malnutrition in Civil Hospital Mithi in Tharparkar region on Wednesday.
The number of malnutrition-related deaths during this month has now climbed to 52, while the number of children’s deaths during this year stands at 649.
The child who died was labourer Gaji’s one-day son.
The affected parent said that the hospital lacked treatment and medicine facilities that need to be provided with immediate effect to save lives of children.
