Earthquake tremors were reported on Friday morning in Peshawar, Lower Dir, Buner and surrounding districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) the tremors originated from the Hindu Kush mountains and were recorded at 5.3 on the Richter scale.
No casualties have been reported from the region.
