ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry on Tuesdays said that the entire nation is waiting for Yasir Shah to break the 82-year-old record of fastest 200 Test wickets.

Chaudhry tweeted Tuesday morning in Urdu that “it’s a milestone for both Pakistan cricket and Yasir Shah.”

Shah, on the first day of the third Test, sent three Kiwi batsmen back to the pavilion to come close to breaking the nearly-century-old world record of fastest 200 wickets. Current record was set 82 years ago by Australian bowler Clarrie Grimmett in 36 Tests.
