THATTA: Two youth stated to be brothers drowned in the canal where another was rescued alive here on Sunday.
Rescue sources said that three youth hailing from New Karachi were fishing in a canal in Chatto Chand area of Thatta when they drowned in the deep water of the canal.
The local people managed to rescue one youth while two brothers Farhan Khatri and Rizwan Khatri drowned.
Search for the drowned was in progress till filing of the report. The rescue divers and local people were taking part in the operation to search the bodies.
