KARACHI: Sindh High Court (SHC) on Monday issued notice to inspector general of police (IGP) Sindh, director general (DG) Sindh Rangers, Home Department of Sindh and other respondents in a case pertaining to the recovery of missing persons.
A two-member bench of the SHC headed by Justice Naimtullah Phulputo heard the petition filed by the families of missing persons and directed the relevant officials to submit their replies within a month.
The bench directed the concerned officials that a report should be submitted before the court after recovery of missing persons.
The petitioners stated before the court that law enforcement agencies, a few days back, had whisked away three individuals from a house in Mominabad at night.
They stated that a man identified as Saifur Rehman and two others individuals disappeared.
The petitioners appealed to the court to recover their beloved ones.
