Transgender model and social activist Kami Sid has once again made us proud with her short film Rani winning an award at the NBC Universal Short Film Festival.
The event which took place in Los Angeles saw the film’s director Hammad Rizvi bag an award for the Best Director.

The film which is about a transgender who adopts a baby had also made its way to several other award shows in the past.
Kami is a well-known activist in the country and has been very vocal about transgenders and their rights.
