The Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) is developing public parks without planting any trees and focusing only on grass and shrubs, a local media outlet reported on Thursday.
Bagh Ibne Qasim in Clifton is undergoing renovation worth millions of rupees but not a single tree has been planted.
Rs20 million was spent on grass during and Rs12.3 million for civil work in the park during the 2017-18 fiscal year.
