- PPP also announces support to PML-N in Punjab by-polls
ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) has announced to support the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) in the upcoming by-election in Sindh.
A PPP spokesperson said that the PML-N candidates would withdraw in favour of the PPP workers in the by-election for the two National Assembly and three Sindh Assembly seats, which will be held on October 14 and 21 respectively.
It is worth mentioning here that PPP has also announced its support for the PML-N in the Punjab by-election. A couple of day earlier, former federal minister and PPP leader Qamar Zaman Kaira had said that both the parties would support each other’s candidates in the forthcoming by-election.
Former Punjab law minister and PML-N leader Rana Sanaullah Khan had also affirmed his party’s support for the Pakistan People’s Party and vice versa in a statement earlier.
