Pakistan is among the top seven countries with the highest rates of diarrhoea patients and rates of death associated with the disease, a local media outlet reported on Tuesday.
The information was shared by the Sindh Additional Director General Health Dr Waqar Mehmood at a conference in Karachi.
Diarrhoea is a preventable disease and can be avoided if care is exercised.
As part of the conference, the impact of diarrhoea on child health and growth was also discussed.
