KARACHI: A policeman was shot dead in the provincial capital’s New Karachi area on Monday.
According to police officials, the policeman, who’s name has not yet been disclosed by authorities, was travelling with his father to withdraw his pension money when he was attacked.
“He died on the spot,” police officials said.
The incident is being treated as murder during attempted robbery.
The policeman’s body has been shifted to a hospital for medico-legal formalities.
Further investigations are underway.
