KARACHI: Seven-year-old Iman Ali reported missing from Qasba colony two days ago was recovered near North Karachi Power House on Sunday night.
The minor boy had gone missing two days earlier and was kidnapped while walking home from the madrassa. According to him, he was kidnapped by a man named “Fareed” and was kept in a room, given food and “syrup” and was left someplace by the kidnapper on Sunday.
Iman’s father seems to claim that a person named Fareed Baig owed him RS4 million who kidnapped his son in order to get rid of the debt.
Earlier, Ali’s parents, alongside neighbours and other residents of the area had staged a protest at Five Star Chowrangi after he was reportedly abducted.
