A woman died at the Muzaffargarh District Headquarter (DHQ) Hospital due to the alleged negligence of doctors and staff members.
The woman, Nageena Mai, was reportedly taken to the hospital for the delivery following which her family was asked to arrange 10 bottles of blood.
The family was then asked to wait during which Mai fell unconscious.
She was rushed to the operation theatre where she died giving birth.
The family was allegedly kept in the dark for three hours about her death.
An inquiry has been initiated on the orders of Deputy Commissioner Qaiser Saleem.
