Islamabad is facing an extreme water crisis like other parts of the country, reported by a local media outlet.
Khanpur and Simli Dams are failing to adequately provide water to the capital’s residents prompting citizens to drill private bores and water wells.
On the other hand, the capital has been receiving ample amounts of rain but no large-scale water harvesting mechanism is in place.
