NA speakers seeks opposition’s cooperation to run house

National Asse­mbly (NA) Speaker Asad Qai­ser met opposition leaders and sought their cooperation in running the NA smoothly.

NA Speaker Qaiser first met with Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) Sardar Ayaz Sadiq and then Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Syed Khursheed Ahmed.

The opposition leaders reportedly told the NA speaker that he had to play the role of a bridge between the government and the opposition.

Moreover, he was also requested to give maximum time to the opposition to speak in the lower house.
