Pakistan’s first Remote Sensing Satellite (RSS), the PRSS-1, and the country’s Technology Evaluation Satellite (TES), PakTES-1A, were made operational.
PRSS-1’s control was transferred successfully to Pakistan’s ground control stations, according to a statement issued by the Planning Commission.
Earlier on July 9, the satellites had been launched from China’s Jiuquan Satellite Launch Centre.
