ISLAMABAD: Senate has been told that ownership rights are being given to all deserving and real residents of 10 katchi abadis of the capital.
The Senate was informed on Thursday that a proposal for the upgradation of 4 katchi abadis is also under consideration. This program includes the provision of electricity and gas connections and construction of sewerage system.
As per written reply given in the Senate, two out of katchi abadis are being shifted partially and two completely to other places under an urban sector project.
